The Katinas: I Still Haven’t Found What I’m looking For

On a Sunday service, the music team had a special number of one of the ‘The Katinas’ song entitled I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’. The title wasn’t that positive, so I had to check the meaning and lyrics flashed on the screen.

The song was really nice that I had to soon get the mp3. It was a U2 original. The Katinas rearanged, I think, the song that it would end with ‘ now I have found what I’m looking for’.

Just a brief bio of the group. The Katinas is a Contemporary Christian music group. The family of five brothers from American Samoa, and moved to Washington, USA after the death of their mother in 1988. The group’s members sang in church as children.

I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For

I have climbed highest mountains
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you

I have run
I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you

But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for

But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for

I believe in the Kingdom Come
When  all the colors bleed into one
Bleed into one
But yes I’m still running

You broke the bonds
And you loosed the chains
Carried the cross
Of all my shame
Oh all my shame
Lord, I believe you

and now I finally found what I’m looking for
and now I finally found what I’m looking for
and now I finally found what I’m looking for
