There are times when we’re on a quicksand; the more we struggle, the more we sink; the more we try hard, the more we lose the battle.
No matter how we wanted to stay inside the identity we train ourselves, we just can’t seem not to get affected on how people see us. We explain, we try to explain and we wanted other people get the points of our explanations. Little did we know that we exhaust ourselves in trying to explain just to be safe.
Ecclesiastes 10:4 says, Composure allays great offenses. It is important that we know that we can handle situations by knowing God can control everything – no matter how impossible, how painful, how hard the situation is- calling you to shout, to be mad, to be in rage. Because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Composure will be your best asset.
