the good about blogging

blogging
If your day is good. Make a good writing about it. You never know you will need a good laugh, a pure memory, a nice thought in the future.

Today, I went back to my old pages and suddenly felt better and encouraged. I was encouraged by my own humble writing remembering the lines I have composed from my deep thoughts and feelings. How I exhaust for words  to use to express my emotions. The words I’ve written really took me by surprise.  The words weren’t extravagant but encouraging for me to read. That eventhough it was a sad memory, it contains and reflect the good about life, the good experience I have learned and how I can still worship beyond pain.

Once posted in my wall was, when you are happy, post it on FB, when you are angry, PRAY. We never know our past blogs will be a great encouragement to you someday.

One of the famouse lighthouses, Cape Bolinao in Pangasinan is the second tallest lighthouse in the Philippines after Cape Bojeador in Ilocos Norte. Build atop of the rocky hill Punta Piedra Point, this lighthouse overlooks South China Sea and is about 351 feet above sea level.

Cape Bolinao Lighthouse was constructed in 1905 by American, British, and Filipino engineers to guide ships and boats plying Cape Bolinao in order to prevent sea disasters.

Planetshakers in Manila 2011

Me and my friends were able to catch Planetshakers Live in Manila Concert, A Night of Worship, last March 16 at Philsports Arena. Our seats are general admission but we had a good view of the concert. They sang some of their songs that includes my favorite ‘Hope of All Hearts‘, ‘You’re all I Need‘ and ‘Nothing is Impossible‘.

Search for Music

Just how helpful Google is!

Back when I was in grade school when the word internet was just about to amaze humanity, hearing a song you just happen to like would mean ages to find its title. Nowadays, it only takes a minute to search for the whole lot of info about the song we just heard somewhere along the road. Google and presto! I have the lyrics, chords and even the copy in my gadget. Just how amazing technology is.

There are a lot of online music website that caters you your favorite songs: Youtube, Grooveshark, Pandora.

Heard a new song? Google helps.

Out of the abundance of our hearts, we say what?

Proverbs 18
21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

What words come out of our lips? What do we utter? The tongue is a very powerful tool. It can bring us to heights and depths of this world. It can make or break hearts. It can destroy, sustain, keep relationships.

Luke 6:45 says of this: ‘ A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.’

Are we storing hatred, anger, resentment? Or out of the abundance of love, joy, hope and faith in our hearts brings forth healing, happiness, strength and words of encouragement?

In Facebook, blogs, twitter or the many SNS we use, are we posting life or death?

Choose life, and live.
