What happened to our country Philippines has been a saddening event. When, justice protectors should have been our democrat defenders, a police officer has been a cause of our country’s trouble. But we will not carry a help if we, the Filipinos, are the ones who make excessive display of negative reaction about the issue. When instead, we are doing something that could lift the mood of our country.
I am sad, but definitely not ashamed being a Filipino. God has placed us to each of our home countries to carry a legacy of being the true blooded borns. To share a patriotic passion, to uphold government’s cause, and carry the traditions and culture of who we really are – Christian, God-fearing, the little pearls of the ocean. I am really sorry for the Chinese people who died during their supposed happy vacation. I am in great distress knowing they value to see the beauty of what Filipinos can offer but experienced a tragic event. I am sorry for the hijacker who ruined his life and ruined the name of this country.
To those who has the heart, which I believe we all have, let us stop pointing fingers and stepping to another’s foot and start and/ all over continue to do good and carry each others burdens. It is a high time to pray and fight the good fight of faith.
As an individual, it is our work to be the torch bearer of peace – to be ambasssadors of harmony and love.
We have rejoiced in the winning of our beloved countyman in the field of boxing, let us also share the burdens of the poor and the anxious.
Let us put down the armors of war and raise the banner of peace.
God bless the peacemakers foe they will be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9
These words come from the book of Ephesians –
Wear in us the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
